Grotto Pizza

Okay, this is a special interest restaurant.  Menu is basic pizza and sandwiches.  It make the list as a great family time out -- especially on a rainy day (consider a late lunch or early dinner on a dismal summer day).

Aside from food that keeps the kids happy, there's an arcade with all kinds of games, including my favorite skeeball.

How does it work?
  • Put dollars in the machine, get tokens.
  • Put tokens in the games, get coupons.
  • Bring coupons to the counter, and pick prizes.
  • Put more dollars on the counter and "buy up" to better prizes.

All while the young'uns are (basically) fed.

And draft beer throughout.

Doesn't get much better than this south of the Sawmill and Lucky Leo's.

793 Garfield Parkway (route 26).
